Unique to the Netherlands, this neo-byzantine church is part of the ‘Largest Museum in the Netherlands’, a community of iconic Dutch churches, each of which tells a unique story and keeps its doors open to visitors whenever it can. You are welcome to visit five afternoons a week, from Wednesday to Sunday between 1.30 pm and 4.30 pm (Monday and Tuesday closed). Group tours can also be arranged outside the regular opening hours.
The church is a prominent landmark - with its nineteen copper domes and minaret-like bell tower, this Roman Catholic church dominates the skyline of Waalwijk. Experts are of the opinion that it is one of the Netherlands’ most iconic churches, and undoubtedly worth a visit.

General admission is free of charge. Opt for our 30-minute audio tour for fascinating stories available in both English and Dutch (€ 3 per person). The audio tour takes you through the entire church building and talks about its origins, the building and all its unique features.
